The Second Part of #inktober2023

Here is the second half of my October offerings using the #inktober2023 prompts.

WOYWW 750: What A Milestone

 Congratulations on the 750th edition of WOYWW thanks to Julia (and Jan) at Stamping Ground.  I am here today to join in and share my desk.

These are just some of the Clarity stamps that I bought from the estate sale where I got the project folder shown last week.  All older stamps mostly discontinued now. 

I went for my Covid jab and a hair cut yesterday - not at the same time obviously.  I had tested myself on Friday as I was kept up all night with a nasty cough.  Saw the Doctor Friday morning and am taking cough medicine four times a day as a result - to return in two weeks if no better.

In school on Saturday morning as it is our annual open morning for prospective parents.  Only a week and a half to go to the holidays!  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

 I am using the prompts for #inktober2023 for my #dailydrawing2023 challenge.  Here is a round up of the first half of the month.

WOYWW 749: Extra Day In School

Well Wednesday seems to come around ever more quickly and it's time to share with Julia and the WOYWW group at Stamping Ground.

Last Thursday I went to help Eva and another friend sort through the craft room of another friend who sadly died earlier this year.  Her sister wanted to hold some craft sales and needed help with sorting and pricing.  We happened upon this folder of Clarity New design stamp club project sheets dating right back to the beginning of the club which I purchased along with many of the stamps which went with them. 

#inktober2023 is still providing my prompts for this month.

I had to go into work yesterday for a parents' evening with a second one after school tonight.  It was/is non-stop appointments.

WOYWW 748: Over the Hump

Yay for being over half way to half term this week.  It is the longest half term of the school year.

My desk shows the latest addition to my Chalet school book collection which arrived on Monday.  I do have copies of all the books in Armada paperback but am gradually replacing them with the unabridged Girls Gone By publications.  I also get the additional fill in titles when I can so have over 70 books in the series now.  One of these days I will have another read through.

As you can see I am using the #inktober2023 prompts for this month's drawings.  The memory was one shared at Dad's funeral of a rice pudding related incident at lunch one day (we all came home for lunch from school/work).
