WOYWW 893/113: Last Day!

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows some of the Clarity goodies which arrived for me lately as well as the usual affirmation cards.

Today is my last day at work before retiring for the second time.  I did handover with my successor yesterday and have two more lessons to teach and sets of books to mark.  After the post school staff get together I will be celebrating with a trip to the theatre to see Lord of the Dance - not very well planned given the England semi final!  I am hoping to catch up on BBC iPlayer when I get home without knowing the score.  Tomorrow I will be having a very long lie in, although I may also have to phone the dentist.  I had a deep clean last week and it seems to have set off one of my teeth.  I have had tooth ache since Sunday!

Off to Mum's on Friday and will do my visiting from there after we get back from our usual leisurely  breakfast at 'Spoons.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Whoop Whoop last day and lie in tomorrow. Sorry to hear about the toothache hope you can get that sorted soon. Super cards this week, I'm still amazed as all the stamps you have and some more to boot. The colour washes intrigued be. Your salamander card has just reminded me of a dream I had last night! Congratulations on your 2nd retirement! I was reading through an earlier post of yours, and really liked the stenciled windows you did on a heart, to pose all those cute dogs and cat silhouettes. Happy WOYWW!

Happy slightly cooler WOYWW!
Woo hoo to 2nd retirement. I guess you won't be getting a big party or loads of gifts this time LOL! Hoping the final doesn't impact your fun visit to LotD. Enjoy your lie-in. I really need one myself. Your cards are always lovely and I like all the cool greens in this set.

Your new life begins again. Enjoy your last few days and hope the end of term goes well. Love the new ATCs and the goodies look interesting too which reminds me I have to sort through all my old Clarity stamps and decide what to keep I just have too many and although they are beautiful they're not all to my taste now which shows how things change. Happy woyww, Angela x8x

Sorry you have toothache. Hope it doesn’t spoil your evening watching Lord of the Dance. When we saw it, goodness knows how many years ago, the stage and the figures were tiny from our position high up. Have a great evening. Angela #10

Woohoo! That's come around quickly. Hope your second retirement lasts longer than the first lol. Looks like a good haul of crafty stash on your desk. Underground cave is my fave ATC this week :) Mostly because it has a look of abstract art I enjoy but I'm wondering if it's also because the thought of a cool cave is feeling very appealing at the moment lol xx

Happy Retirement No.2 , Sarah! Have fun today and enjoy the performance of Lord of the Dance. I've never forgotten going to a performance of it in London. Michael Flatley was amazing. Now that your retired you'll have all the time in the world to try out all those Clarity goodies. Great ATCs as usual - my favourite this week is Dandelion Sails. Hope your toothache doesn't take the shine of your day and have a great week. Elizabeth x #12
