#dailyatc2026: Nine Months Complete

I have completed my eighth month of this year's challenge to myself - a daily ATC, following the prompts over on 365 days of drawing prompts and other art and using Clarity stamps and stencils.  Here are my offerings for the second half of September.

As usual I will be changing my background colours for my October ATCs.

WOYWW 904/124: Less Hectic

This has been a far less hectic week.  I treated myself to a PJ day last Thursday and have been taking my time over making samples which I posted off yesterday.  My desk shows the start of sorting all my #dailyatc2026 backgrounds for October - last day of September already, where has the year gone.

I met up with Eva on Monday for a walk around the lake at Trentham Gardens and breakfast at the cafe. She came back to the shed for a crafty session afterwards, so here she is on the other side of the desk.

I will be visiting from Mum's on Friday as usual.  On Saturday I will be enjoying a day of recorder playing.  My brother is attending the workshop too so I am particularly looking forward to it.

Hope Helen and Susan are continuing to heal well from their operations.

WOYWW 903/123: Out Gallivanting

Having been catching up with my club stencils, it was time to use more of the Clarity club stamps from this year, so I was having a browse through the project folder.  I was busy working on samples for the 34th birthday celebrations at the weekend so can't show any finished projects yet (you can check back tomorrow for the first one).

I have done a lot of gallivanting this week.  Two theatre visits which were fabulous - I bumped into some former colleagues after the second one so we did a little catching up.

On Sunday I visited Keele for the first time in 30 years and went on the heritage tour of Keele Hall.  This was home to both the French and German Departments in my final year ('86-'87) so has changed a great deal on the inside.

But not on the outside.  Hard to believe that I was in my final year 40 years ago!

Not too much gallivanting this week - recorders in Lichfield yesterday and a visit to Mum's on Friday.

WOYWW 902/122: Enjoying Retirement

I am finally taking some time to work with my backlog of Clarity Club stencils, stamps and Groovi plates from this year and feel as if retirement is kicking in.

I won't get to visit Mum on Friday as my car is going in for its annual service and first MOT on Friday - my annual health review is tomorrow.  I have two theatre visits this week - tomorrow to see a Queen tribute and on Friday to see Emma Kenny a Forensic Psychologist.  The AGM for our branch of SRP (Society of Recorder Players) went well on Saturday and the draft minutes have been sorted and all the new members added.
