WOYWW 88/100: Back to Work Again

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

Still looking forward to Neet feeling well enough to join in again soon - you are missed.  Gentle hugs to all those feeling under the weather too.

My desk is bare.  I managed to finish samples and get them posted after work on Monday but there has been no action since the weekend with the new term starting.

I nearly forgot to set this up to post yesterday as I was so tired after work.  Luckily I remembered on the way home.  I had to have a new freezer and washing machine at the weekend so fitting that in around sample making was pretty stressful too.
I suggest that we have an ATC on our desks for the 17th anniversary in 4 weeks time.  If anyone wants to do physical swaps, you are welcome to offer on the day but I won't be able to do it this year.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

sounds like you are finding getting back in a work routine pretty stressful; I hope it settles for you . I hadn't clocked that the WOYWW anniversary was approaching although of course it is... not sure I will be able to make atcs for a swap either! great atcs this week for your daily offerings. Happy WOYWW. Helen

Loving this weeks ATCs simple and effective conveying the prompt perfectly. I'm just amazed at all your silhouette stamps. Sounds like work is really tiring I do hope that eases as the term goes on. Yay I have read it right this year - have an ATC on my desk on 17th May for the anniversary - I quite missed that last year. Hugs Bj#3

Is the anniversary so close? Wow, even more surprising than the speed at which Wednesdays come round.
It sounds like teaching again is extremely tiring for you. I remember how you used to count down towards retirement, so I’m hoping they will have found someone else for next year, if that’s what you want. Your daily ATCs are lovely.
Happy WOYWW

I think one ATC on our desks this anniversary is a good idea with postage costs being so much now....plus my work demand is going crazy with wedding/prom season upon me. I love your daily arts.
Hugs,

Hi Sarah, I warned you about retirement and doing supply! I always felt that doing supply seemed harder than working full time. I think that if you wanted to have ATCs for the anniversary but don't have much time to make them the best way is to scan one and then coppy it and use that. Anyway you take care and happy woyww, Angela x8x

Like Helen says, I do hope you’re coping with returning to work ok and not doing too much. I’d like to make something for the Anniversary as it definitely needs celebrating, keeping going for 884 weeks must be an Internet blogging record surely?

Crikey it sounds like life is full on for you at the moment. I don't envy you the stress of having a new washing machine and freezer installed. Hopefully this coming weekend will feel more relaxed :) In the meantime, you've created another brilliant set of ATCs with some interesting themes as you say. Of course, I love "Fabulous" - one of my favourite and frequently used words lol xx

Well I missed the week when you said you were going back to work. Am sorry you’re finding it tiring and not a little stressful with your other commitments…that’s the trouble with the busy retirement you had created, there’s nothing like it! I have to go look at the Celeste and Evelyn stamps before I can move on now, catching up with your blog is very enabling!

My desk is in a very similar state but your daily cards are great - good to see those bgs put to work. Desperately trying to carve out more craft time at a point in my day/week when I have some creative space in my head! I certainly couldn't fit in work!! have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #13
