Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.
Sending love and best wishes to Neet who is still in hospital last I heard.
My desk shows two of the new stamp sets that Barbara is showcasing this afternoon on Hobby Maker. There is a square frame set as well which is on my 'to get' list. Before I forget, thanks again so much for all the left-handed crochet tips, links and information that you let me have after last week's post.
I had a bit of a health scare on Monday when I woke with a sharp pain at the bottom of my ribs on the left hand side. Having given it some time to resolve, I rang 111 and they advised going up to A and E, so #2 son took me up there and I had the full works - ECG, bloods and chest x-ray. I was discharged about 4 hours later - not a heart attack. Spent yesterday resting at home and will probably follow up with the GP tomorrow if things have not completely settled down by then.

Didn't go over to Mum's last Friday as she was worried about me driving with the slushy roads.
Stay safe and happy WOYWW.

Gladyou got yourself checked out, and take care of yourself. Great display of atcs. Happy WOYWW Helen xx
Eeeek a scary blip indeed but only 4 hours in A&E that's not bad considering what I have heard from other people. Hope it resolves soon take care. Super stamp sets, like how they are boxed. Great progress on the jumper too. Love the ATCs and how the background works in so many different ways especially the Glacier one. Hugs Bj#3
Sorry to hear you've had a health scare...you were wise to get it checked out. I love the art you've been working on this week.
Hugs,

Dear me. Sorry to hear Neet is still in hospital - such a long time! - and sorry to hear your are not feeling the best. and the weather does not help at all, does it? Loving the ATCs but confused over the image of knitting but talk of crochet?? Too early for my brain to make sense of it! Happy WOYWW!

The jumper is going to look great when it's finished and loving the new journal pages but hoping the scare is finished, that'a awful, you must have been very worried. Sending gentle woyww hugs, Angela x4x
That sounds a nasty scare Sarah. I do hope you feel better and the pain goes and that it's just one of those mystery aches and pains we get occasionally. Well done on the sweater. Knitting is such a brilliant, crafty hobby x x Jo 🌈
Sorry to hear you were unwell, Sarah, and I hope it doesn’t come back. Your knitting looks very neat, and your daily paintings are lovely.
Happy WOYWW

Good morning Sarah, gosh I hope you’re feeling better today and there’s no more scary episodes. I’m looking forward to see the development of your sweater. Knitting is something I’ve dabbled in a few times, never finishing anything though haha

I’m sorry you had such a scare Sarah, thank goodness the test results were ok. I hope you’ve been resting up and enjoying your crafting to take your mind off things a bit. The jumper is looking great, you’ve got good tension and the paintings are fab. Big hugs to you lovely gal xx

Ooh hope the gp can get to the bottom of it, it can be so scary so sending hugs and fair play for carrying on with the crotchet, as I mentioned as a lefty I struggle with it 😀 kyla 11
Argh, that sounds scary, am v glad that A&E did all the tests instead of bumping you back to your GP, reassuring that nothing immediately bad was obvious, hope the pain part in particular has resolved itself, follow up anyway Sarah, your GP might be familiar. loving your week of blue work, the colours are lovely and I love the way you’ve applied them.
Glad to hear that you got the all clear for all the serious diagnostics. Hope it's resolved soon. Great to see you carrying on with the wool crafts and that you've been careful on the icy roads in the last week. Love the ATCs and the running colour theme and style. Glacier is my fave, it's a beautiful landscape you've created. xx
When I went to A&E with a suspected heart attack I was there 23 hours! So you did very well with only four. It is scary though isn't it. Hoping it was just "one of those things" and your health is fine, hugs Angela #13
Good morning, Sarah
Sorry to hear about the blip. I'm thinking you might have just moved wrong. Ribs are tricky little critters.
Love your art pieces this week. Look forward to seeing more of the sweater.
Creative Hugs & Healing Blessings!
