Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.
This month's ATC theme for the Clarity swap is Travel and the colour pink, so I had some potential stamps out ready to make. I have also offered to make a card for a former colleague so I need to get that done before popping into school on Friday. I must admit that I am missing my colleagues. Thanks for all the retirement well wishes. I celebrated my first official day of retirement on Monday with a lie in, visiting desks after a hectic weekend, and going over to Mum's for dinner with her, sister, BIL and the friend that I gave a lift to from Kent.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone.

Welcome to retirement Sarah, I'm sure you'll get used to it pretty quickly, so much more time to craft after all. Loving your Africa page. As for Pink and Travel there was a pink globe in the flower art exhibition at RHS Wisley yesterday maybe I ought to blog my photos from yesterday too...I woke at 4.30am for no reason today, thought I may as well stay awake to link up but back to bed now...Hugs BJ#1
I am sure t will take a while to adjust to retirement - and I always wake before the alarm when I am off work (so annoying!) Great daily art as ever. Happy WOYWW , Helen x
Even though it is a long long time ago I remember i celebrated my retirement in the same way - a lie in that morning despite being awake as usual. Congrats on the retirement, the body clock will get used to it eventually.
Love the "Africa"drawing/painting you have done.
Hope the parcel arrives ok for you.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Hi Sarah, I'm sure you'll get used to it in time. The great thing is that you can go away for a holiday when the children are back at school and I have to be honest I am not stood by my desk today, I am in Geneva Hee! Hee! Have a good woyww. Hugs Angela x6x
Yes I am guessing it will take a while to reset your inner clock, hope the delivery did get there, annoying when you pay for next day, if not, worth asking for a refund and stating the impact. Love the nurses hats, my mum and aunt were both nurses.

Posting and parcel delivery seems to be haphazard these days so I hope your parcel arrives safely. You sound to be busy in your retirement - crafting is the perfect way to enjoy having plenty of time to choose what to do. x x Jo 🌈
I'm chuckling away here as a retired lady!! I'm not ready to give in working just yet but I do love being my own boss which allows me to decide which jobs I do. I'm sure your days will quickly fill and you will wonder how you ever found time for work.
Hugs,
Annie x
Enjoy your retirement!!
I love your Africa!
Happy WOYWW!
Welcome to the first official retirement week! Bet it feels real now, huh. I really hope the samples got to Clarity when they should have, why is it always the ones that you have to send to make a tight deadline?! Have fun with the pink and travel....I have a very bright pink metal Eiffel Tower key ring, so anything goes of course...and then there's all the sunrise colours.......
Love the cards Sarah, especially the Africa one - gorgeous pattern and colours. Hope you enjoy your first official days of retirement - sounds like you are just as busy, and I hope your parcel arrived on time .
Happy WOYWW,

Glad you're enjoying your retirement. You're not alone in getting up early even though you don't have to. My body clock wakes me up at six without an alarm regardless of if I have anything to do. Might be different when it starts being dark in the mornings lol. Fabulous week of pictures again, Africa being my favourite of them. Enjoy the rest of the week :) xx
I wrote a note to myself last week about retirement - you only stop GOING out to a job, if you have a house to run, you are permanently working! (how does she know this?) Retirement seems much more 'geared up' for men - golf, etc. What did you imagine you would do before you finished? I think you will be able to achieve loads, you are so focussed (and brilliantly creative)
