Embossing Powder over Texture Paste: A Spring Journal Page

This is the first of my art journal responses to the April 'Spring' prompt over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More.  I decided to keep the page quite simple, but try a new technique; using embossing powder over the top of texture paste.

Art Journal Prompts Week 14: Eastern Promise

I must admit, when I saw this prompt, my heart sank a little.  It is probably my least favourite style of crafting and I have very few resources apart from one or two sets of stamps.  The set that I ended up using has never seen ink before, but I must admit that by the end I was really pleased with the effect and the colour scheme.

Junk Journal Challenge 8: Copper, Royal Blue, Ivory and Science

As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew exactly the stamps to use.  I have all the stamps in the Weird Science collection by IndigoBlu because so many of my family are scientists (one way or another).
