Metal Flakes with Stamping and Die Cuts

For my last sample using the new City Skyline dies from Claritystamp I used metal leaf flakes combined with both the London die and the 3-way overlay stamp.

I decided to think outside the box with these small acrylic bauble shapes.  I turned three of them into a matching pair of earrings and pendant.

I made this card for my sister's birthday today using the Clarity mixed media journal stamps.  I like the effect of mica powders and metal flakes on black card so built up a patchwork of colours in that way.

Dandelion Tag: A Meaningful Bookmark

I thoroughly enjoyed the craftalong with Barbara Gray yesterday afternoon on Hochanda 2-4pm.  If you missed it with all the excitement of Wimbledon and the World Cup Cricket it is still available on catch up.  This is the first project that I did using the stamp set.

Mixed Media Affirmation Bookmark

I do like plenty of tags that I can use as bookmarks as I usually have quite a few books on the go at the same time.  I used some new mixed media supplies to create this one.

Gel Print Background with Metal Flake Detail

A gel plate makes a fabulous background.  I like how layers can be built up whether you use ink or paint.  For this project I lifted ink from the plate with a stamp before printing.
