Garden Bird Flight of Fancy

I came across a print left over from a previous craft session (see HERE) and decided to use it as the base for a card using the stamps from the Garden Birds Cut Card Kit from Clarity Crafts. Here's how it turned out.

I started with the print (4" nested circle die).

Next I added one of the small birds in Jet Black Archival ink plus one of the sentiments from the larger stamp set.

Followed by the sentiment from the small stamp set in the same ink.

The bird was coloured using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#183, #184, #185, #191).

The topper was matted onto dark yellow card, die cut using the 4.25" nested circle picot die.

I used the corner from the smaller stamp set to add gold embossing to the corners of a 5" x 5" black card blank (Versamark ink and detail gold powder).

To finish, I simply added the topper to the card.
