Just a quick post today. Some of you will have already heard but my husband passed away suddenly last Friday.
The boys and I have had such a lot of love and support from family, friends and colleagues. The same funeral directors who took such great care of Dad will be looking after Paul too once he is released by the coroner. The flowers arrived on Monday from Barb, Dave and the Clarity team. I have been trying to keep to a routine at home but James is staying with his brothers as he understandably can't face being at home at the moment. He was amazing on Friday, doing CPR, calling the ambulance and then phoning me once the paramedics took over (I had just arrived back at school from London).Completing my #dailycollage2024 gives me a purpose at the start of each day and I will continue with my daily blogging as long as I have projects to share. Thanks for all the messages I have already received. Stay safe.

oh Sarah!! I am so so sorry to hear this. I knew something was up from the post you shared yesterday. There are no words that will help but I am glad you have family around you to support you. Much, much love. Helen #2
Oh Sarah - I had no idea. Please remember you are very loved.
All my love too

I’m so sorry, Sarah. It’s a really rough time - it seems very recently that you also lost your father.
Your son James sounded like he was on the ball. I had wondered if it happened while you were in London but at least you were spared that. It’s good to keep up with your daily collage routine.
They’re beautiful
Sending big hugs

It was such a shock to hear of your beloved husband's passing. I am just glad that you have family and friends surrounding you. How lovely of Barbara and her team to remember you in that way.
Take care, crafting will help, believe me

Oh dear Sarah, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sending Deepest Sympathy and Prayers your way. I love the photo you shared. So beautiful and so young. You are wise to keep doing what you love. Your collage works this month are so beautiful. I have over 20 ladies since 1 year ago who have lost their husbands We have had 12 funerals since January mostly men. Take time for "YOU" and know that we all care. BIG Hugs.
Sarah... such a shock to do the woyww-round after being away for months, arrive at your blog and learn that your hubby passed away last friday, so sorry to hear. I send you all my love dear, and keeping up a bit of routine might be the right thing to do. Big hug from the Netherlands, Marit #15
Oh my, Sarah. I'm so very sorry to read this. I hope the coroner doesn't take too long and I'm glad you have a good funeral director to help you. I think this makes a huge difference. Well done to your son for coping so well as events unfolded too. I hope he comes home to you soon. Sending lots of love and strength. Lisa-Jane #10 www.prettymypage.co.uk
I'm a lucky desker, I met Paul when you came to Stonehenge and so enjoyed seeing you both. Your wedding photo is so lovely, we have a similar 'look at the ring' shot, I bet we were married in the same era! I don't think Paul had changed as much as you! You already know that we're all here for you, I hope the trauma is fading a little, and if he needs it, your son can access some help. What an awful time for you. You are all very much on my mind and if I can do anything, please reach out.
It’s devastating news and I feel for you and the boys and especially James, that’s a traumatic way of losing your dad. I’m so very very sorry for you and send my deepest sympathies.

Oh Sarah, I’m so sorry to read this terribly sad news. For some reason I was just thinking this week of when you and Paul popped in whilst visiting York. Know that you and your family are in my thoughts at this very difficult time. Sending much love ……. xxx
Oh, Sarah,
Sending prayers, blessings and hugs!
Grief is not a sign of weakness nor lack of faith...it is the price of love.

Oh my goodness Sarah, I am so sorry to hear of your sudden loss. I knew something was up as I hadn't had a comment from you this week. I have just carefully read the words you have chosen for your daily collage pages, and yes you will make it through this one day at a time, yes you'll be brave and strong. My heart goes out to you sweetie, all the love in the world BJ#3
