Pattern Building with Flowers and Leaves

I had a play with some pattern building using the Spring Lace Elements A5 stamp set from Clarity Crafts.

Take a 6” x 6” white card blank and add a pencil line 2” from the bottom.

Add the individual flower from the Spring Lace Elements set into the centre in Vermillion Archival ink.

Add the leaf corner either side in Fern Green Archival ink.

Add a further flower each side as before.

Add two further leaves facing the other way as before.

Finish the row with a further flower and set of leaves either side.

Add the smaller frame at the top in Versamark ink and heat emboss with super fine gold embossing powder.

Add the birthday sentiment into the frame likewise.

Erase the pencil line and add the friend sentiment below the row of flowers in the same manner.

To finish, scribble Perga colours onto a mega mount, pick them up with a watercolour brush pen and paint the flowers (#26) and leaves (#17) of the frame.
