It's A Boy!

A colleague recently went on maternity leave.  This is the card I made for staff to sign.

Add the feet from the Adorable baby set to a piece of Clarity stencil card in Antique Linen Distress Oxide and mask them up.

Add the rattle in Jet Black Archival ink and mask up likewise.

Add the 7” x 7” layout stencil one over the topper and brush French Ultramarine Archival ink through the apertures.

Remove all the masking.

Colour the feet using Polychromos #132/ #102, (Essentials) #189 and #172 (Winter).

Colour the rattle with Polychromos #145 / #156 (Summer) and #149 (Winter).

Add ‘It’s a boy’ using Mini Word Chains 9/10 in Cobalt Archival ink.

Next add ‘How amazing!’ in the same ink (How and ! Word Chains #21 and Amazing Word Chain #9).

Trim a piece of Antarctica companion paper to 7.5” x 7.5” and gut the centre with the 5.25” nested square picot die.

Add it to an 8” x 8” white card blank.

Add the topper to the front of the card.

To finish, I personalised the back using stamps from the cute Christmas Personalised stamp set in Cobalt Archival ink.
