I needed a quick make for the blog, so decided to go small and use up a background from the online Alcohol Ink on a Gel Plate Workshop with Barbara Gray. Here's how it turned out.
I started with a 3.5" x 3.5" background.
I made it smaller using the 3" nested square die.
As I had only allowed my self 15 minutes to create a card, I kept the stamping to a minimum. I love the Wild West Treescape stamps from Clarity Crafts so stuck with those, starting with the largest cactus in Jet Black Archival ink.
This was followed by the smallest horse rider and a couple of the second smallest cactus in the same ink.
I then added some of the smallest grass and cactus using first and second generation stamping.
I finished with the sentiment and a couple of the larger grasses in the foreground.
I cut a mat using an offcut of Companion Paper with the 3.25" nested square picot die and matted up the topper.
To finish, I added it to the front of a 4" x 4" white card blank.
or....take a ride on the wold side! great fun!
