May Flowers Calendar

Having focused on April showers, I decided to go with May flowers for next month's calendar page.

Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 16cm x 21cm. Lightly draw the letters MAY into the centre in pencil.

Choose three flowers from the Spring and Summer Build a Wreath stamps and add them in Sun Dazed, Rosey Posey and Violet Archival inks using Clarity stamp pens.

Swap colours with the flowers and add the same three images again.

Swap and add more flowers using the same stamps and colours for a third time.

Fill in the gaps using a fourth flower stamp.

Add foliage from the same stamp sets in Leaf Green Archival ink in the same manner.

Add a bee from the summer stamp set three times in Hickory Smoke Archival ink.  Erase the pencil.

Use low tack tape to create panels at the top and bottom of the topper. Mask off a narrow border either side likewise.

Add the 9” x 11” Brick Wall stencil and blend Hickory Smoke Distress Archival ink through it above and below the word.

Remove the masking.

To finish, edge top and bottom with a black Sharpie pen and add it to the calendar.
