April 2025 ATC Swap: Friends/Turquoise

For the April ATC swap over on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes & ATCs, the theme was Friends and the colour was turquoise.  This is what I made for my swap partner.

Add the Clarity ATC stamp onto the back of a piece of ATC stencil card in Forget-Me-Not Archival ink.  Add the name of the artist using one of the bespoke stamp sets and a date stamp in the same ink.  Add the title and edition using a turquoise Bruynzeel fine liner pen.

Brush Tumbled Glass Distress ink over the other side of the ATC using a Clarity stencil brush.

Brush Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink through the Petite Dot Wave stencil, going in darker at the edges.

Add the Bijou Friends Dangle stamp in Vibrant Turquoise Archival ink.

Add one of the small ribbon shaped sentiments in the same way.

Colour the letters and ribbon using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#154, #153).

To finish, add a drop shadow in Payne's Grey.

For the card, choose one of the tags from the Landscapes by Barbara collection.

Add one of the trees from the Countryside Miniatures stamp set in Jet Black Archival ink using a stamp pen.

Add the mini Friendship word chain (set 8) in the same way.

Mat onto a swatch piece from the Northern Lights companion papers and trim one end, leaving a narrow border all round.

To finish, add to the front of a 4" x 4" white card blank.
