Mixed Media Tag with a Sewing Theme

I am still having fun each month joining in with the challenge over on Tag It Tuesday.  For this month the four prompts were: Use buttons, add a charm/metal piece, doodle around the edges and fussy cut and attach something.  The two colour choices were turquoise and lime green which is one of my favourite colour combinations.

Add the top layer of a paper towel that has been used to clean mica spray in the prompt colours off a stencil to a #8 manilla tag. Seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.

Add the mannequin from the Corset stamp set by Claritystamp in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Mask off the mannequin and stamp buttons (Haberdashery stamp set) into the background using Forget-me-not and Vivid Chartreuse Archival inks. Remove the mask.

Add a cross stitch and running stitch doodle around the edge of the tag using a black Posca pen.

Stamp the corset from the same stamp set as before onto a piece of Clarity stencil card in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Colour the corset using Faber-Castell Polychromos and fussy cut.

Add shading to the mannequin and attach the corset.

Add a silver-coloured metal charm in the shape of a pair of scissors.

To finish add three of Barbara’s word stickers and go round them with fine liners.
