WOYWW 599: One week to Go

The weekly desk share seems to be coming round more and more quickly. This time next week WOYWW will be celebrating 600 weeks of crafting camaraderie, thanks to Julia at Stamping Ground.  I am really looking forward to the virtual crop the following weekend too.

My desk this week shows the last of my catch up drawings for Drawcember2018.  I am not sure what I am going to do now, although I have a new sketchbook ready to go and have the prompts for #inktober2019 which I didn't take part in last year.  There is a new daily drawing challenge starting in December over on Junk Journals and Mindful Mixed Media Art so I may just take a break until then and start my catch up afterwards.
Here's a close up of the last two pages.  Happy WOYWW.  I'll be round to visit soon.

  5. What I like about this drawing a day project is that it must be quick and easy to do, therefore you’re more likely to keep up with it every day. I’ve enjoyed seeing the pages on FB. I’m looking forward to next week too, it’ll be fun!

  7. Brilliant work Miss Sarah, am super impressed by your will to catch up and then overtake! Perhaps you should go back and start colouring them now?!! Really looking forward to the online sessions too, I moved my desk so that if I felt it timely, I could get the tree up for some ambience. Time will tell!!

Trust you and the family are keeping safe and that school is ticking along nicely - I am so glad I am not involved in teaching in this climate.

  18. Hi, Sarah!
    So disciplined you are!
How often do you use washi tape? And where? I have a nice collection but seldom use it.

Hope to meet you on the Zoom call

    Stay well and Happy Wednesday

  20. Your drawings are so gorgeous, Sarah, and that Christmas jumper is brilliant! You've certainly had fun with all the prompts. Thank you for visiting, and for your kind words about the needle book. I'm really pleased to be coming to the end of the whole project now - much as I have enjoyed it (very satisfying to do and relaxing too) I am now keen to move on to something else, and my crochet hooks are calling to me! I had to get up at 7 a.m. today in case the furniture came first thing (middle of the night for me lol!) and it arrived at about 9.45 so we are now comfy and happy again! It's very nice. Lily isn't bothered by it but Ruby is a bit cautious still. They've had an unsettled couple of days, being confined, but they'll soon settle down again.

    Happy WOYWW,

  21. How nice to be finished, and yet have something to look forward to! I might just check out December...
I love seeing what other people do with stamps that I have. The angel is actualy very glittery but you can't tell in the photo. This is the first time I've actually used these stamps! Maybe you can make some cards with your angel and lamp post! Have a great week, thanks for your visit, Lindart #30

  25. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for your visit to my blog!

I love your pages! Your drawings are awesome! Drawing is a skill I admire. I am the only person in my family who cannot draw anything, not even a straight line. I will have to go back and look at your other pages!
