WOYWW 579: Two More Weeks

Well my mojo has come back with a vengeance.  In comparison to the previous week, two tags in four days, I have made four samples, two tags, three prom invites for a private event and seven cards.  Of course I can't show you many of the pieces as they are for work colleagues.
In my desk photo I was working on the second of four cards from Maria Moorhouse's third virtual stamp class.  I thought I'd better get on with it as I've just paid for the fourth one lol.
The class was based round working with mica powders and palettes, although each project could be done with both.  I made two versions of the last card and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I am joining in as usual with the long running blog hop hosted by Julia at the Stamping Ground: WOYWW.  Please visit if you like looking round people's desks and crafty spaces.  I'll be round to visit everyone and should manage by the weekend as I am in school for the rest of this week.  A shout out to the majority of Y7 and Y8 who aren't in school at the moment.  Last, but not least, a big thank you to LLJ who sent me happy mail last week which was very much appreciated.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW fellow deskers.

  8. Oh well done, your spike in mojo has been very productive and more to the point, looking fab! Love me a bit of mica powder, so versatile aren’t they. Some fab images there too, like the leaf/lantern one on the first card - who is that by?

  11. Sorry Sarah - got my wires crossed and thought I was on Julia's website for a moment! My mind is already on other things this a.m. Anyway, I love all the cards you made, and the gold flourish one at the beginning is my favourite. Thanks for visiting - Ruby's expression is a picture, isn't it! Off to the kitchen now to launch into my day.

    Happy WOYWW,

  12. Some lovely makes there, Sarah. These virtual classes that are being run at the moment are great aren't they. I hope they are one thing that keeps going after lockdown. You can do ones that would normally be too far to travel too.
Hope school is going ok. September will be interesting with everyone in won't it? We are a primary school at the top of a hill and one of our guidelines is that all the windows will have to be kept open and we will need to dress appropriately, that'll be about 5 layers then in winter lol!!
    Have a good week
