Birthday Bookmark with Window Die

As these new Room with a View aperture dies from Claritystamp can be split in half, I decided to decorate the front and back of a bookmark for my first sample.  The full set will be available as a One Day Special on Hochanda until 6pm this evening, with shows at 9am, 1pm and 5pm.













Cut a piece of the Indian Summer 12” x 12” paper to 11cm x 22cm.

Cut a piece of black card to 11cm x 11cm and die cut the Room with a View Sunshine die from the centre.

Use Spray adhesive to attach it to the designer paper and score it in half lengthways.

Cut one of Barbara’s Word stickers in half and insert it below the panels at the top of the aperture.

Add ‘You’re a Brilliant Ray of Sunshine’ using the Mini Word Chains (17&18/19&20) in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss in clear embossing powder.

Add ‘Birthday Blessings’ (Mini Word Chains 3&4) in the same manner.

To finish, fold in half, trim along the open edge to a width of 5cm and slip into the long Pergamano bookmark sleeve.
