Milestones, Memories and Moving Forward
This is my 900th blog post and coincides with the last one of 2018.  This is the first calendar year that I have blogged every day, the year that my first DT samples were shown on Hochanda by Lou Withers (Royal Talens), the year I was asked to join the Clarity design team and have participated in too many challenges to count.  My second weekly art journal is only three pages away from completion and I have made many creative friends.   I have decided to pick a project from each month this year which shows my continuing journey.  All captions link to my original post.
My February choice is one of my most popular posts and was a journal page for Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More.
For March I have picked a card and the second most popular post of all time on my blog.  I have really enjoyed experimenting with different layers this year.
April's choice is a tag in my favourite colours.   This was given to a crafty friend.
May's choice is also a tag,  I make rather a lot of these to try out new techniques and materials.  I love these cute robins!
For June I chose another card.  This one made with cardboard embellishments.
July brought another anniversary, the first year of blogging every day.  I chose a set of tags created with set 4 of the Distress Oxides and the Clarity three way overlay stamps, two of my favourite products of 2018.

August brought with it the third anniversary of my blog.  I chose a journal page which forced me to think outside the box!
For September I have chosen a 3D project which stretched me a great deal, but which was a resounding success in my eyes.
October's choice is a tag from my tag journal.  So far I have completed pages A-U.
On the 1st November I had the honour of being asked to join the Clarity design team by Barbara Gray at the NEC.  It was an amazing day out with two crafty friends.  I have chosen the birthday card which I made for my eldest son a week later.
For December I have chosen another new type of project.  My first attempt at candle decorating.  I intend to carry on trying out new ideas and techniques as 2019 begins.
The first event of 2019 that I am looking forward to is a workshop with Maria Moorhouse on the 5th January, followed by the first Clarity show of 2019 on Hochanda (6/1/19) at 2pm where my very first samples may be shown.  I do hope they are up to standard!
