The prompt for this month's mini mission over on Mission Inspiration is Shelter. As usual, I completed a tag for my tag journal.
I started by adding a piece of paper towel mop up sheet to a #8 manilla tag using Distress matte collage medium. It was used to mop up Amsterdam acrylic inks from a previous project. The layer was sealed, dried and trimmed. Using the Swing Reverse stencil from Claritystamp, I inked Jet Black Archival ink through. To emphasize the girl on the swing, I replaced the stencil once clean, used a clear embossing pen through the areas with the girl, swing and ropes and heat embossed in detail gold EP. I went round all the outlines with a fine white Posca pen and extended the gold embossing so that the ropes go around the tree branch. To finish, I printed a quote onto clear plastic using my Dymo Letratag, trimmed each section and added them to the tag.
