A fellow recorder player recently had a baby girl. This is the card that I made for the group to sign for her.I started by die cutting Welcome Morwenna from Northern Lights Petite designer card using the A5 Woodblock Print Alphabet dies.I then stamped New Designer Stamp club #211 New Arrival Rose Teddy onto the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank in Tattered Rose Distress Oxide. This was painted using a mix of Distress inks (painted on with a watercolour brush pen) and Faber-Castell Polychromos (Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, #268, #193, #168).I then die cut a frame from a second piece of Northern Lights Petite designer card using the 3.5” and 4” Nested Circle Letterbox Doodle Frame-its Frames & Panels dies. The frame was added to the card.I then added Welcome at the top of the frame using Perga glue.To finish, the die cut letters were added in the same way below the frame to spell the name of the baby.
Hello Sarah, One of our neighbours is expecting - due in October. What if the name is only 3 letters long, how do you arrange the words so that it all looks symmetrical please?
ReplyDeleteWhatever the length of the name, start with the middle letter(s) and work outwards each side.
