WOYWW 885 / 105: A Wonderful Tribute

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows the beautiful ATC and ATC turned into a card which I received from Whipso and Twiglet.  They were made in memory of Neet and are truly beautiful - thank you so much.  It was lovely to see so many reminders of her last week on people's desks and her funeral service which many of us have seen vie the virtual link was a wonderful tribute.

I have been keeping up with my #dailyatc2026 and you can see the first half of May HERE.

These bring you all up to date.

Today sees my last day at work before half term and yesterday lunchtime marked the half way (work) mark from my return to work until my second retirement in July.  Seven weeks after half term and I will once again have more time for crafting.

Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

  2. We both had the same idea- to post out just a couple of ATCs in memory of dear Neet. It was a lovely funeral service too. I'm glad your work days are counting down quickly and I bet you are really, really looking forward to July! x x Jo 🌈

Super ATCs, hard to pick a favourite although watercolour is high on my mind right now and defo relate to the panic one that's me alright! Gorgeous cards from Wipso and Twiglet, I have free machining on my list of things to have a go at soon..... Hugs Bj#6

  5. I’m on holiday and to say the internet is sketchy is to lend it some leniency! I can’t see any of your pics! glad to know that your class saving stint is nearly over, at least for now! I agree, the atcs in memory of Neet are perfect. Have a good week!

  6. Hi Sarah, I'm sure you will find plenty to do when you finally retire. I worked full time when I was teaching and the supply that I did before I retired fully where a great way to slow everything down but I warn you they kept asking me back I ended up doing three years! Love the Atcs from Wispo and Twiglet and your weekly art too. Wishing you a happy woyww, hugs Angela x9x

    Nice ATCs.
I've missed seeing your drawings. You are so talented.
I can't believe we are down to 11 of us! I remember when there were 70+ desks to visit.

  9. I bet having had a taster of retirement, you're really looking forward to it again :D At least you have a half term to enjoy and at the moment, they are saying its going to be warm and sunny too. Love the ATC's and yes I'm that guy who suppresses a laugh when someone falls over - I'm a horrible person I know lol Enjoy your week off xx
