Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness and today celebrating our 17th anniversary. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.
A bittersweet anniversary, as Neet's funeral is tomorrow. I had a wonderful couple of hours at the weekend looking through all the ATCs I have swapped, in person or via the post, with WOYWWers from all over the world. My desk today shows those I received from Neet over the years, including the one from the last crop in 2024.I started my blog in August 2015 and joined in with WOYWW for the first time 11 days later thanks to being introduced to everyone by my sister-in-law Pat (see HERE). Many of you have been joining in for a lot longer than I have and although people have come and gone, many are still here who were in at the start.
If you would like to offer ATC swaps, please feel free to say so on your blog.
Many of us will be paying our respects to Neet tomorrow afternoon at 2.30pm via the webcast.
I look forward to hosting WOYWW going forward and would like to thank Julia (and Jan) for bringing us all together.
Happy WOYWW. I only had time to find one of Neet's atcs. I won't be able to watch the funeral either as I will be at work. I will be thinking of her. Sadly no spare atcs to swap this year. hugs to all. helen #1
ReplyDeleteWe are so lucky to have met up with such lovely folk via our WOYWW. Thanks lots for keeping it going and for your support and friendship. Neet's ATCs are as funky and fab as she was. Thanks for sharing. Happy 17th! x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteI'm not offering a swap this year as the postage is so expensive but Jo and I have sent a few out :-) Neet was a special friend and even came to me for sewing so we shared happy times together...I will be remembering those tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Annie x

Hi Sarah, a lovely selection of Neet's ATCs, I have s photo of furst one from 2012 and one from crop at 2018. I dont usually make anniversaries these days but made a special effort for today and added half done post remainder from last week and a few extras. Happy WOYWW anniversary, Sarah and God willing I'll stay up late tomorrow night from 11.30am to watch the funeral. It will be Friday here when it finishes.

Hi Sarah, it's difficult to believe Neet's really gone. I've found some of her ATCs and though I've not got round to making new ones this year (due to being busy making the Baby Journal) I do have some of the book marks left from last year if anyone wants one. Have a nice woyww, hugs Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to see Neet's art and reflect on what a wonderful creative person she was. I truly miss seeing her weekly WOYWW posts. Sending hugs for tomorrow xx
ReplyDeleteLovely to see Neet's ATCs! I had a good time looking through my folders of ATCs to see if I had any of her artwork. I too miss her WOYWW posts.
ReplyDeleteHugs for tomorrow...
I’m late to post today, but not unwilling! I’ve shared some of Neets ATCs too, it was lovely to go through my collection I must say, so that’s another thank you I owe her in a way! Can’t close without repeating my blog - thanks for taking on WOYWW, it’s still a thing! Xx
