What a fabulous weekend at the Claritystamp retreat Eva and I had. There are two desks on display today - one at the retreat and one back home with a couple of the cards - not quite yet finished.
Eva was of course on the other side of the desk as usual. On Friday afternoon we had fun with a Groovi project and on Saturday morning it was background techniques using inks, paints, stamps and brayers. I have a fabulous pile to play with at home. Saturday afternoon was a lovely project involving zentangling with a stencil. We are all set to book for next year again and I can thoroughly recommend the retreats.Barbara provided the expertise and tips and tricks ably supported by Paul and Jilly worked her magic on the lunches each day - she looks after the design team so it was good to catch up face to face. Eva and I may have spent a bit of money in the Clarity pop up shop too lol.
My quick daily journal pages are currently on a holiday theme and I have had fun finding the appropriate Clarity word sticker(s) for each page.

Sorry I didn't get round to visiting desks last week, between sample making and going away I just didn't have time. I promise to try and do better this week. To find out more about WOYWW please visit Julia at Stamping Ground - there will be lots more desks to see and a friendly community too. Looking forward to the crop in October! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.
How lovely to see that you and Eva enjoyed the retreat so much, you were very productive! I do like the cards on your home desk too, they’re very stylish. Unfortunately I won’t be at the Crop this year, it’s our 40th anniversary in September and G and I will be in Edinburgh on the Crop date, damn. You’ll just have to eat some cake for me, lol!!

Glad you had a good time at a retreat Sarah.ovely makes. Enjoy Scarborough. Its where my D.I.L. comes from and where she and my son married. Take care Anne x 13
ReplyDeleteWOW the retreat looks great, glad you had a super time there. Love the journal pages, could do with a dip in the sea to cool down, just have to settle with lurking in the chilled aisles at Asda! Thanks for confirming you are constantly hot as well, a number of ladies have replied the same so I don't think a visit to the GP is necessary as I don't feel ill, just HOT. Happy Hot WOYWW BJ#10
