Clean and Simple Get Well Soon Card

I created a scene within a frame with one of the new Garden stamps sets for a get well soon card.  All stamps used are from Claritystamp.

I started by creating a frame with the log stamp onto a piece of 7" x 7" stencil card.  I stamped in Ground Espresso Distress Oxide.

Next, I added the two masks which come with the set and stamped the grasses in Frayed Burlap Oxide.

I added a mini moon mask, the mountains and hills mask and used the log masks at the top and right of the frame.  I then gently brushed Tenacious Teal Artistry ink across the sky, getting lighter towards the left.

The sky was masked off using the outer section of the mountains and hills mask.  The bottom and left hand side of the frame was also masked and Avocado Artistry ink brushed over the left hand side.  I then swapped the left hand frame mask to the right hand side and continued adding Avocado ink.  The hill mask was moved down the page and additional Avocado ink added.

Next, I coloured the reeds, grasses and honesty using water colour pencils.

I then coloured the frame using a water brush, drawing out the colour of the Distress Oxide from the stamped image.

To finish, I added the words 'Get Well Soon' and Hugs, Kisses from mini word chains 15 & 16 in Acorn Archival ink.  The background was trimmed to 15cm x 14cm and matted onto a card blank cut to 14.8 x 15.8cm, created from an A4 piece of dark brown card.
