Alcohol Ink Gel print Using a Stencil Journal Page

This is the first of the samples that I created for the new Arty stencils set, designed by Leonie Pujol for Claritystamp.  They were such fun to play with and you can see Leonie's shows on Hochanda today at 10am and 3pm.

I started by adding the face stencil to the 6" x 6" gel press plate.  I then dripped on alcohol inks in Shell Pink, Salmon, Mushroom, Teakwood, Ginger, Honeycomb, Latte, Cool Peri and Sailboat Blue.  These were blended together using felt pads and the stencil removed.
The stencil itself was laid onto a 7" x7" piece of Clarity stencil card, spritzed with Isopropyl Alcohol, another piece of card laid over the top and run through my embossing machine.  I had no intention of wasting any of the alcohol inks.

Once the alcohol ink on the gel plate was completely dry, I laid the stencil back in place and added a thin layer of Titanium Buff acrylic paint using a brayer.  The stencil was removed and a print taken.
I cut a piece of the embossed image and added it to the print, taking care to line up the two images.
The piece was trimmed back and two of the stickers from the Dylusions Creative Dyary Back Chat sticker set added.
To finish the page I added it to a piece of dark brown card.

Fantastic piece, love the way you have made it look half & half by adding the other layer. Have put the shows on to record to catch up with later.
