Kind Heats are the Garden...

This is the last of the samples that I made for Barbara Gray's 2pm - 4pm Clarity shows on Hochanda last Sunday (6/1/19).  They will still be available on catch up if you wish to see them.  I loved working with the garden heart stamps and the new matching frameless stencil.  I hope that this project goes to show that you don't have to use the whole of a stencil or stamp set to achieve a pleasing result.
I started by masking off the edges of a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card.  Next, I blended Lime Kiss, Dry Weed and Green Garland Artistry inks  onto the 6" x 6" gel press plate and stamped it over the stencil card.

Next I added the stencil along the bottom and blended Green Garland ink through it with a stencil brush.

I actually decided to use the outer section of the medium moon mask and blended Dry Weed Artistry ink through it.

I then removed the masking tape and trimmed the card back a little.

The verse from the Garden Heart stamp set by Claritystamp was added in Rich Mocha Artistry ink using a stamp platform to ensure depth of colour.
The topper was matted onto a piece of the beautiful Clarity Shenandoah designer paper and trimmed down to fit onto a 7" x 7" white card blank.  I also added a squiggly line around the coloured area with a dark brown fine liner to make the image pop even more.
I do think that this card could be used for a multitude of occasions, from a thank you card, to an engagement, wedding or anniversary card.
