Elf Hunt Art Journal Page: Festive Background

The second festive prompt for December over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More is Festive Backgrounds.  I decided to turn mine into an art journal page in honour of the Advent Elvis hunt over on Claritystamp.
I cut a piece of mixed media card to 18.5cm x 19.5cm and blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide all over it.
Added Stormy Sky Oxide through the Clarity mini script stencil.
Then Broken China Oxide through the Christmas Stars Shape stencil (also Claritystamp).
Next I went back to Tumbled Glass, this time through the Pine Needle A5 stencil.
I then stamped all the Clarity Snowflake stamps in Forget-Me-Not Archival ink.
Finally, to finish my festive background, I blended Pearl Shimmer Paint (Cosmic Shimmer) through the snowflakes on the NDSC #6 stencil.
Elvis the Clarity Elf comes as two stamps: front and back views.  I stamped them both with the Memories Black ink pad and cut them out using the direct cut setting on my Brother Scan N Cut.

They were coloured using my Royal Talens Ecoline pens.  The front of the elf to stand out from the background and the back to blend in.

These were then added to the background.
For the wording,  I used the Claritystamp Word Chain Alphabet stamps to make up each word, stamping in Versamark ink and heat embossing in detail white EP.  I added 'Now you see me' next to the obvious elf at the top.
Finishing with 'now you don't next to the less obvious image at the bottom.  So far I have managed to track down Elvis each day on the Clarity web site as I would like to be in with the chance to win a £200 hamper.
