Christmas Card with Angel Wings

I was recently inspired by a beautiful DL card that I saw on Facebook designed by Lizzie Dzadiak using the Angel Wings stamp (and die) by Gemini from Crafter's Companion.  I decided to make my own angel wing DL card.
I started by stamping the Angel Wings onto a piece of Sheena's stamping card using Versamark ink and heat embossing them with detail white EP.  To start with,  I used Tumbled Glass Distress ink on my glass mat and a water brush to colour in the wings.
However, I didn't feel the colour was strong enough, so went over the image with Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink using the same method.
The image was then fussy cut to use as a focal point on the card.
For the background,  I cut another piece of Sheena's stamping card to 9.2cm x 20.4cm.  I used the script stamp from the Simply Angelic set by Andy Skinner to stamp three times, using Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink to match the wings.
One of the Midnight Waltz stamps (designed by Lisa Horton for Creative Expressions) was then stamped three times in Versamark ink and heat embossed in detail silver EP.
The topper was edged in Mermaid Lagoon ink.
It was then matted onto a piece of matching paper leaving a narrow border and added to a DL card.  The card was made from a piece of A4 hammered white card, trimmed to 19.8cm x 21cm and folded in half to create a DL (9.9cm x 21cm) card blank.
To create the sentiment topper,  I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Holly Insert Frame designed by Phill Martin onto piece of Sheena's stamping card (7cm x 7cm) using Versamark ink, then heat embossed it in detail white EP.  A little Mermaid Lagoon ink was added with a water brush to make the stamping stand out against the background.
This was then trimmed along the top and edged in the same ink.
The sentiment was glued onto the card in the bottom left corner.
The Angel Wings were added with foam pads for extra dimension.
This is Lizzie's card which inspired me in the first place.  Thanks for idea!
