Yupo Space Background

This was made for the September challenge over on Mixed Media Art Journey.  It gave me an opportunity to use part of a Yupo background that I'd already created.
There were six random prompts as always.  The first was 'Make ATC'.  I have a stash of ATC sized card so grabbed one to get started.  A second prompt was 'Use purple'.  I had a Yupo background that I had already created with a lot of purple in it (see HERE for details), so added it to the ATC and trimmed to size.
A third prompt was  'Use mask'.  I stamped and fussy cut a planet shape, laid it onto the background and went over with some additional purple alcohol ink.
Unfortunately, when the mask was removed there wasn't a noticeable difference between the masked area and the rest of the background.
A fourth prompt was to 'hide a secret'.  I decided to write a message on the back of my focal point.
A fifth prompt 'add shape' was fulfilled by the addition of my space man stamped image.  It had been stamped in Onyx black Versafine ink onto Sheena's stamping card and heat embossed with clear EP.
Once fussy cut (and the secret message written on the back), I added it to the ATC.

The final prompt was to 'Add song lyrics'.  I decided to use a line from David Bowie's Space Oddity: '...and I'm floating in a most peculiar way...'.  This was printed using the extra small size on my Dymo Letratag, trimmed and added to the ATC.

To emphasize the purple, I added Wild Plum alcohol ink in the top right and bottom left corners.
In  real life the colour is far more purple than blue.
