Life Is Never Going To Be Long Enough

I was determined to use some stamps that I haven't for quite some time as well as using up some of my stash of paper towel mop up sheets.  The result was this tag.
I grabbed the top sheet of my paper towel mop up stash and split it into two layers.  It had been used to clean blue and yellow ink off the Claritystamp framework circles stencil.  When I added the first layer to a #8 manilla tag, I overworked the surface with the brush when sealing it with distress collage medium and made a hole in the middle.  Neverthe less, I dried and trimmed the layer.
I decided to add the other layer of paper towel, offset from the first, to cover the hole.  It was sealed (carefully) dried and trimmed in the same way.
The result reminded me of clouds in the sky, so I chose the House Martin stamp which was Clarity New Design Club #112 as a focal point.  It was stamped onto Sheena's stamping card in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed in detail clear EP.  Once fussy cut, I used poetic licence with the colours and used lemon yellow and light blue Kuretake Clean Colour pens to colour the image to match the background.  This was then sealed with Distress Glaze and added to the tag.
Several Faber-Castell Pitt artist pens were used with my Pergamano blending pen and a new nib to add shading and additional colour to the image.
It only remained to stamp and heat emboss the sentiment 'Life is never going to be long enough' directly onto the tag.  This was the previous stamp from the Clarity New Design Club #111 and is available on back order from Claritystamp.
