Happy Father's Day

This card was made for Father's Day and is dedicated to my own Dad, my husband and fathers everywhere; have a great day!

I worked on a piece of card 6.5" x 6.5".  I covered the card with a piece of copy paper which had been used to clean up my gelli plate after a session with alcohol inks and the Wild Privet stencil from Claritystamp (for more details see HERE).  The paper was sealed with matte medium, dried and trimmed.

The background was matted onto a piece of black card 6.75" x 6.75" and added to a 7" x 7" pre-made white card blank.

I stamped the three waistcoats (Inkwell Stamps) onto a spare piece of Sheena's stamping card using Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed them using clear EP.  They were coloured using four of the Kuretake Clean Colour pens to match the background, then fussy cut.  I glued each waistcoat onto a piece of white card 4.5cm x 4.5cm matted onto black card (5cm x 5cm).

To finish, the waistcoat toppers were added to the background, along with the Happy Father's Day sentiment.  This is a stamp from the Old Crocks set by Butterfly Kisses.  It was stamped onto a piece of white card (4cm x 5.5cm) in the same way as the waistcoats then matted onto black card (4.5cm x 6cm).
