Spring is Nature's Way of Saying, "Let's Party!": Journal Page

This is my third 'Spring' page for the April monthly prompt over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More.  I found a quote by the late Robin Williams that I liked and decided to work with that.
I started by creating my background on a piece of mixed media card (18.5cm x 19.5cm).  I blended a number of Distress Oxides up the page (from the bottom: Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean).  The secret to getting an almost seamless blend is to ensure that you have plenty of ink on the page and to blend back over each join with the lighter colour each time.  Once I was happy, I gave the page a light spritz of water and dried it with my heat tool.
Next, I added stamping along the bottom using the Whispering Winds stamp by Inkylicious and Library Green Archival ink.  For this step, I used my Misti stamp platform to ensure solid stamping.
Having chosen the letters that I wanted to spell out Spring from the Grungeboard Alphas/Swirls set by Tim Holtz idea-ology,  I gave each letter several coats of Peony Blush  Dylusions paint.
Before adding them to the background, I went over each letter with Graceful Pink gilding wax (Colours by Phill Martin / Cosmic Shimmer).
Finally,  I printed the rest of the quote onto clear plastic using my Dymo Letratag and added it to the page.
