A Rainbow of Gouache Colour

This is a sample that I made for the Royal Talens shows on Hochanda using Gouache paints.  I love the opaqueness of the colours but the ease of use.
I started by stamping the Bee Crafty Birds on a Wire stamp onto a piece of Sheena's stamping card (14.3cm x 14.3cm).  I used Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with detail clear powder.  I extended the wire using a black embossing pen and heat embossed it in the same manner.
I then used Gouache paint, some neat and some mixing of colours, to add a rainbow across the background.  Once dry, the paint has a really matt velvety feel.
The topper was matted onto black card (14.8cm x 14.8cm) and a sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in the same manner as the birds.  The stamp set is no longer available but I felt it fitted the card.  This was trimmed, matted and added with foam pads.
