Masterboard Journal Page

Usually when I create a master board it is then cut into smaller pieces and used for different projects.  This master board was created for the 4th Explore Your Creativity Challenge with Junk Journal Junkies and Mindful Art and was used instead to create an art journal page.  The technique to use was create a master board, the product was paint and the colour, yellow.
I dabbed Scattered Straw, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress paints onto a piece of mixed media card (19.5cm x 18.5cm) and brushed them out randomly with a 1" flat paint brush.
Sunshine yellow Adirondack paint added with a natural sponge for additional texture.
Fossilized Amber distress paint through the School house layering stencil (Tim Holtz THS011).
Pure Sunshine Dylusions paint through the Houndstooth layering stencil (THS055).
More Fossilized Amber paint through the Shredded stencil by Andy Skinner.
The large drip stamp from the Drips and Dirt set (Stampers Anonymous Art of Brett Weldele) stamped in Barn Door Distress paint for an added splash of colour.
One of the Drag & Drip stamps by Visible Image also stamped in Barn Door paint.
Finally, three of the Christmas Quote Chips (Tim Holtz idea-ology) were edged in Fossilized Amber paint and added to the page (the edges of the page were also coloured with the same paint).
