Live Like Tomorrow Doesn't Exist

This page was created for week 41 of Art Journal Prompts: Use Q Tips/Cotton Buds.  The gorgeous, grungy stamps from Visible Image went beautifully with this prompt.
I am being so good using my latest purchases and started by blending a couple of layers of  Vanilla Custard Dylusions paint over a 18.5cm x 19.5cm piece of mixed media card.
In order to add some subtle interest, I stamped the grungy script stamp from the Scripted Streets stamp set by Visible Image all over the page using Pale Ochre Archival ink.
Using the same stamp again, I  added some images using Sepia Archival ink; I deliberately stamped lightly to create a patchy, random effect.
The next step was to add the jumping girl from the Tomorrow Doesn't Exist stamp set (also from Visible Image) in Coffee Archival ink.  I used my Tim Holtz stamp platform for this to ensure a deep, even coverage.  In the bottom left and top right corners I used part of the Woman INKognito stamp in the same colour ink.  This stamp is really versatile as it can be used to provide texture as well as providing a fabulous grungy silhouette image where required.
The next step is where the Q Tips/cotton buds required by the challenge prompt came in.  To mirror the stamping, I used Ground Coffee Dylusions paint and a cluster of three cotton buds held tightly together to add interest to the other two corners and left hand side of the page.
I then added the two sentiments which are part of the Tomorrow Doesn't Exist stamp set in Coffee Archival ink.
To complete the page and link in with the Sepia toned script stamping in the background, I added the scribbled circle stamp from the Universal stamp set by Visible Image multiple times in Sepia Archival ink.  I deliberately stamped off the page in areas and overlapped the circles to tie everything together.  I loved creating this page and I hope you all like it as well!  Crafting makes me happy and these stamps do too.
