Happy Birthday - How Time Flies!

This card is one that I adapted from a card made with the fabulous Phill Martin at his recent Craftathon.  The original used the blossom collection, but as I wanted a more masculine look and I have many of the stamps from the Timeless Collection, I adapted the card and used a 'Decadent Denim' colour scheme.

Happy Birthday Son

My own birthday never makes me feel my age, but somehow, when my children get a year older, I feel it more!  I am really proud of my middle son, who has started a business from nothing and built it up over the last year.  He's very into gaming and computers, so I felt this card was appropriate.

MDF Book - 60 is the new 40!

Happy birthday to my brother-in-law who happens to share his birthday with my middle son.  I made this for him to complement the MDF book that I made for my sister's 50th birthday last year.

Congratulations on The New Arrival

This is the card that I made for my colleague on the arrival of her beautiful daughter.  Congratulations to the whole family!

Keepsake Box

A colleague has just had her first child - a beautiful baby girl!  I had been planning to make this as a gift for her for a while; my colleague really loves to travel and always tries to learn some of the appropriate language before she goes, so the papers that I chose to decorate the box reflect this.  Congratulations!

Happy Birthday Dad!

It's my Dad's birthday today.  We celebrated yesterday as no-one had to go to work today.  Even my brother who lives in Canada managed to join in as we played a family game together over Skype; if you've ever had to shout out instructions to diffuse various modules on an electronic 'bomb' via the internet you can understand the atmosphere.  Brother following instructions; Mum on morse code duty; one sister counting coloured wires; brother-in-law dealing with coloured buttons; other sister dealing with mazes and word codes; nephew on 'Whose on First' duty; son dealing with 'Simon Says' and myself on complicated wire duty dealing with the Venn diagrams because no-one else will touch the job.  It was a hysterical couple of hours; Dad just enjoys watching and listening to the mayhem.  Any way - Happy Birthday Dad, I made these cards especially for you.
