Yellow! Rainbow Wedding Next Installment

This was the only double page spread where I used more than the ivory/colour of the page card.  The reason for this was that the yellow didn't show up against the background ivory as well as I liked, so I chose to use a brown to create a drop shadow effect with the die cuts.

The brown card also provided some additional texture and was a better colour for the horses pulling the wedding carriage on the right hand page.  On the left hand page, the Just for You die from the Everyday Sentiments 1 set by Tonic Studios was die cut twice; once in yellow pearlescent card and once in the brown texture and the two die cuts were offset.  The Cheery Lynn vertical Mesh Heart Border was cut from yellow and matted onto a plain panel of the brown texture card.  On the right hand panel, the Marianne Church and Princess Carriage were built up in the same way as the sentiment; two Trotty Horses by Cheery Lynn were cut and layered up in the brown texture card.  Next time I think that I would add some narrow ribbon as a harness to attach the horses to the carriage; and maybe a bride and groom to sit inside the carriage.
